PWSpoilers.com reported not too long ago that once Simon Cowell leaves American Idol at the end of the season, he will be working on another FOX reality series, the US version of the UK hit X-Factor.
We’ve heard that Cowell is working on bringing in Cheryl Cole, who judges the UK version of the reality series.
In addition, Mel B. is now being considered by Cowell once it begins to air in the fall of 2011. Reportedly, the former Spice Girl went out with people close to X-Factor to discuss the possibilities of her becoming an on-air personality on the sure-to-be-hit series.
A source close to The Daily Mail reports, “The top level executives at the production company, TalkbackThames, took Melanie Brown (Mel B.) out for the evening and it was certainly to gauge her thoughts on the show – and to see if she would be right for a role,”
One thing that may be holding her back is the attitude she reportedly has, “she won’t listen to anyone, so there could be fireworks on the panel,” the source said.”
