Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Split

Halle Berry and her model beau Gabriel Aubry have gone their separate ways after four years together, according to several published reports.

TMZ reports that the stars have worked out a “very short-term custody arrangement” for 2 year-old Nahla.

The couple spent months working on a financial and custody deal with a lawyer, according to RadarOnline.com

“All Gabriel has asked for is the house they own together in Canada,” says a source, who adds that Halle agreed to give up the home. The star reportedly also consented to 50/50 custody of little Nahla Ariela.

A source tells the site that Aubry ended the relationship, and that the couple’s nine year age gap was an issue. Halle, 43, and Gabriel, 34, had been together for five years.

The source adds that Gabriel’s wandering eye was also a factor in the split: “… he would never cheat on her, but I suspect that he had become attracted to someone and that he felt he needed to break it off with Halle before anything developed any further.”

Halle is said to be upset, but the source insists that it’s an amicable split.

Although Halle and Gabriel weren’t married, this is the third big breakup for the Oscar winner. Her first marriage, to David Justice, ended amid accusations of domestic abuse, and her second marriage, to Eric Benet, ended when Halle found out the R&B singer had cheated on her.

He co-managed the enormously successful “Hell Freezes Over” reunion of the legendary rock group The Eagles in 1994. Peter was also one of the producers of the highly successful motion picture SELENA.

Catherine Bach’s Husband Found Dead at LA Home

Peter Lopez, the husband of ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star Catherine Bach, was found dead Friday morning after police responded to reports of gunfire at the couple’s Los Angeles home. He was 60.

KTLA.com is reporting that Lopez was discovered with an apparent gunshot wound on the front lawn of their Encino residence. Medics responded to the shooting at 11:30 AM.

Police tell TMZ Lopez’s death is being investigated as a possible suicide.

Bach and Lopez married in 1990 and have two children together, Sophia, 14 and Laura 11.
Lopez worked as one of Michael Jackson’s lawyers handling his music-related affairs. In 1997, he helped orchestrate the 25th anniversary edition of the singer’s landmark ‘Thriller’ album.

Chelsea Handler To Address Sex Tape Rumors

LOS ANGELES, Calif. –

Chelsea Handler will address reports of a decade-old sex tape on her show, “Chelsea Lately,” on Wednesday night, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

“Watch the show. It’s not a sex tape – it was done for a comedy bit years ago,” a rep for the star told Access.

Radar Online reported on Wednesday that the comedienne made the tape “nearly a decade” ago, shortly after her move to LA. The tape reportedly includes stand-up footage that cuts to a clip of Chelsea with a male partner naked on a bed, performing what appears to be intercourse.

The site asserts that the scene in question is not comedic.

Radar further reported that the male participant speaks with a British accent and appears behind Chelsea in the sequence.

The talk show host will also appear tonight on “The Tonight Show,” promoting her new book, “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang.”

“Chelsea Lately” airs on E! at 11 PM.

Why Did Kate Gosselin’s New Book Flop?

Apparently, Kate Gosselin‘s fans like her enough to keep her on Dancing with the Stars for three weeks — but not enough to buy her book.

Gosselin’s I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith, and Family has sold only 10,000 copies since its April 13 release — not bad, but hardly the half-million sales that her first book, Multiple Bles8ings, racked up in its early weeks. The 35-year-old mother of eight is a bigger star than ever… so why the slow sales? Here are three theories:

1. The cracks are showing. The appeal of Gosselin’s previous books was the question, “How does she do it?” We wanted to know how Kate handled eight kids when we could barely handle one or two. But now that the Gosselins’ marriage has fallen apart, we know that she doesn’t have it all figured out after all — and we’re just not as eager for her pearls of parenting wisdom.

2. Not enough kids. Multiple Bles8ings (2008) and Eight Little Faces (2009) both featured adorable portraits of the Gosselin kids on their jackets. In contrast, I Just Want You To Know looks like an issue of O magazine, with Kate instead of Oprah. Solo Kate is a lot easier to pass over than those eight little smiles.

3. Kate overload. Sure, Jon & Kate Plus 8 was cancelled — but between Kate’s magazine covers, news coverage, and network TV appearances, we’ve barely noticed. And now she has two new reality shows in the works. Is this really the time to fork over $23 for more Kate? How about we pay $23 to make her go away for a few months, so that when she returns, we’ll be happy to see her again?

Kim Kardashian Denies Stinking Up A Plane

According to the National Enquirer, Kim Kardashian “caused a big stink when she boarded a flight at LAX carrying a just-purchased giant burrito that smelled… as odiferous as a Mexican bean factory!”

The tabloid reported that the stink was so bad that passengers gagged and cried out and turned up their air ducts to dilute it.

Kim writes in her blog that this is simply not true:

You guys have to read this story I found in National Enquirer. This is by far the funniest story I’ve ever read!
First of all, I absolutely hate burritos! Secondly, I have never brought Mexican food on a plane. This never happened and these quotes made me laugh so much… This is just hysterical!

Peta Ad: Sasha Grey

• On Friday, January 8, 2010, PETA, the “People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals” group, released a new advertisement for their animal birth control campaign, starring ex-adult movie star Sasha Grey. The advertisement shows Grey in a sexy pose, with her bare back, looking at the camera. The ad sports the text:

  “Too Much Sex Can Be a Bad Thing – Have your Cats and Dogs Spayed or Neutered”.

  Together with the unveiling of the advertisement, PETA also released a YouTube Behind the Scenes video. On the PETA site, Sasha adds:

  “I think spaying and neutering is incredibly important. … [I]t keeps the animals out of the shelters, and there’s too many unwanted animals out there already.”

  The video shows Grey on a couch explaining why she participates in the PETA ad, and why neutering dogs and cats is important. The video also shows Grey while the photo shoot is in progress.

• Sasha Grey is an active adult film stars, who won several AVN (Adult Video News) Awards, and has starred in hundreds of adult films. She recently featured in a regular Hollywood production, starring in Steven Soderbergh’s movie The Girlfriend Experience.
